July 4th is always a big celebration in South Boston, Virginia as we remember the importance and significance of our independence. Annual July 4th celebrations take place at Constitution Square in Downtown South Boston. There will be music, food, and lots of celebratory activities and events for the entire family. Fireworks are the highlight of the celebration and are always a crowd pleaser!

The July 4, 2026 Celebrating our country’s 250th birthday takes place in Constitution Square and kicks off with the reading of the Declaration of Independence and the National Anthem. Fireworks at 9:30pm.
