A Bright Future for Downtown South Boston
Downtown South Boston was honored to have Zachary Whitlow visit our town and document his visit recently. Zachary is a Community Revitalization Specialist at the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), working closely with the agency’s Virginia Main Street (VMS) program and Rural Community Development Initiative (RCDI). He loves helping communities across Virginia unleash the power of small-scale, grassroots revitalization to build a sense of place and ensure economic vitality! We are so excited that Zachary saw the beauty, excitement, and vitality of Downtown South Boston on his visit. Please read his review (link below) in full and then head downtown to explore all that’s available in our community. Our locally owned small businesses on Main Street have their doors wide open, welcoming you with a smile and a huge ‘thank you’ for supporting local business! And thank you Zachary Whitlow for highlighting our town! The Future is Bright in Downtown South Boston
