It’s almost here! The annual South Boston Christmas Open House is Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1-5pm and there’s plenty of fun planned for all ages. Browse the festive holiday shops along the street but don’t worry about your feet hurting – just stop in McCollum Ferrell and get your comfy Hey Dudes, Birkenstocks, and plenty of other stylish and comfortable options. Then you’ll be set to go!
Santa is at The Busy Bean from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Have your pictures taken and printed on the spot! And enjoy a free hot chocolate compliments of Rogers Heating and Cooling. Then head over to Wister’s Florals & Gifts where children can leave a letter for Santa with Ivy, their store mascot. Ivy will whisk the letters off to Santa where he will write a personalized response for children to receive in the mail! And enjoy a complimentary warm apple cider and holiday treat while you’re there.
You’ll definitely want to check out Distinct Impressions for Brumates, gifts, and clothing, visit Puryears and Enchanted Surroundings for beautiful holiday decor and gifts, and make a stop at Cheers for your Cherry Cordial energy drink. And holiday decor and unique gifts are just waiting for you at Mother Cluckers home decor shop.
Gals and guys both will love the products you’ll find at Avon and then walk across the street where you’ll find treasures and gifts at Honey Bee’s Consignment.
There is also plenty of entertainment and lots of local crafts too. Factory Street Brewing has a fantastic craft fair with local artisans selling their unique products and Duck Donuts and Full Circle Pizza are serving up delicious food. And be sure to take in the art of Steven Schopen at The Prizery.
Christmas Open House is a day filled with fun and laughter – and it’s a great time to support your local merchants and businesses. Consider doing your holiday shopping downtown where more of your money stays in the community and supports your neighbors.
Bring joy back to the holiday this season!
