Summer is almost here and DDSB is sponsoring an incredible downtown event on Main Street to help you Splash Into Summer with plenty of fun and entertainment! On June 2, 2022 from 5pm-8pm, Downtown South Boston will be transformed into an outdoor oasis where you can kick off summer in style.
A live band will be in Carter Green right next to Carter Bank (thanks to Carter Bank for providing this awesome space!). The streets will be filled with music while downtown merchants and plenty of vendors, artisans, and crafters line the sidewalks. Merchants and vendors will offer summer merchandise, home decor, baked goods, clothing, jewelry, fresh flowers, handmade crafts, and much more! Bring your four-legged friends too so they can enjoy the stroll and visit pet-friendly stations along Main Street.
Many of the downtown merchants also have fun activities planned for children too. So bring the whole family!
A NIGHT ON THE TOWN!
Not only will there be shopping, but you can enjoy sounds from the Brown Brothers band LIVE at Carter Green on Main Street. This popular band will be jamming it out from 5-8pm thanks to our sponsor, Rogers Heating & Cooling.
Many downtown shops that are usually closed in the evening will also be open for Splash Into Summer so you can shop at all of your favorites. Enjoy the music and festivities as you stroll along the sidewalks. Check back often for more updates on what to expect for Splash Into Summer!
In addition to Main Street, be sure and check out Factory Street Brewing on Factory Street where they will be rocking it out with delicious local brews and non-alcoholic beverages. They’re open during the event and remain open afterwards so you can continue the fun. They offer lots of fun for the entire family (all alcoholic beverages must be consumed and enjoyed the establishment where purchased). Dogs are welcome!

And don’t forget! Factory Street Brewing Company will be open and rocking it out with their local beer, non-alcoholic beverages, popcorn, and other snack options.
